❏ Scope of Work
❏ Billing Plan
Usually, this meeting takes no longer than 20-30 minutes.
Agreement. Assuming everyone agrees to the terms outlined in the proposal we'll both e-sign a project contract. This is important in order for us both to have very clear expectations for what is to come.
Deposit Payment. To commence the work we require a deposit payment. The amount of the deposit directly depends on the budget. The usual range for deposits is 20-50%.
Work on your project. The project development begins and continues as per our standardized work processes.
Project Finalization. Testing, proofreading, final edits, and touch-ups to make sure that your project looks perfect.
Final Payment. Once the final invoice is cleared, we are ready to deliver your project with all the final deliverables.
Project Delivery. Your project is done. We will hand off all the final deliverables to you so you can start conquering the world!
We don’t require monthly minimums. We will evaluate your project individually based on the scope of work, scale, goals, and deadlines. If the scope of work doesn’t match your allocation, we will always advise you on workarounds. We can work with large, small, and in-between budgets. We also offer design bundles now for those who are interested in multiple services at once!
We craft timelines individually based on the scope of work and the scale of the project. We always try to suggest timelines that give us ample room to discover and implement the best design solutions and go through several iteration stages. We understand that sometimes our clients may need something urgently, and we always do our best to deliver the results before the deadline. Extremely tight deadlines usually result in poor quality of work. We strive for the highest quality, so we may only accept your project if the deadlines are realistic. We never accept projects with same-day delivery, and we don’t take motion design or web design projects due in less than 3 days, no matter how small they are.
Once we know enough information about the project to assess it, we will send you a design proposal that will include all project details, a quote, and a billing plan. After you approve a proposal and agree to move forward, we will send you an agreement. Upon signing the agreement, we will bill you the first invoice(Deposit), the size of the payment will depend on the scope of work and chosen licensing option. Invoice can be paid with your Credit/Debit card or through Wire Transfer. After the invoice is cleared, we will start working on the project and submit all further work with watermarks. Depending on the payment plan, we may keep billing you throughout the project, or bill you the rest once the project is complete. Once the project is finished and all the payments are cleared, we will release the final deliverables watermark-free. If you need project assets without watermarks during the production stage, we will ask you to pay 100% of the project’s total fees upfront.
We have two types of licensing available for all of the work we provide, and we're here to help you choose the right one for your needs.
First up, our Exclusive license. With this worldwide and non-expiring license, you'll have the right to use the final work within the specified usage limits. You'll also be able to modify the work as you see fit and file for copyright. We'll retain all rights to the final work, including the preliminary work, working files, and original artwork, but you'll be the sole user of the final deliverables. If you need to expand your usage limits, just shoot us an email and we'll take care of it.
The second option is our Work Made For Hire license. This gives you full ownership and authorship rights transfer, including a Moral Rights Waiver. You'll have complete control over the final work, as well as the preliminary work, working files, and original artwork. This type of license does come with a 20% markup on the total project cost, but it's a great option if you want to own the work outright.
We default to the Exclusive license for all of our services, but if you're interested in the Work Made For Hire license, just let us know and we'll make it happen.
We always send an agreement with a project scope, payment terms, service terms, copyright, licensing, and warranties. We are also happy to sign an NDA if needed.
We highly value collaborations with clients who allow us to become a part of their team. To make a maximum of our partnership, you can provide us with as much information about your brand, project, and services as possible. We will appreciate any small details because they can turn into game-changing decisions. We value your time and deadlines; however, project delivery will depend highly on your prompt feedback. To maintain a quick turnaround, we require our clients to provide feedback within 3 business days. You would also be responsible for paying for any 3rd party materials such as paid fonts, paid 3D models, or any other paid supplement design assets.
We want our clients to be happy with the designs we produce. That’s why we always take our time to understand your vision and project goals before diving into work. The first step of our process is a design brief during the discovery call. It is crucial for us to make sure that we will be able to turn your vision into a design. If we feel the project isn’t in our area of expertise, we will be upfront with you. Before getting into designing, we always create a mood board where we gather references and concepts. It allows us to visualize and check ideas without putting many hours into work right away. We also include two rounds of edits during each design stage and offer additional revisions at an hourly rate. We always keep track of the revisions for our clients and never add additional revisions without their approval. In rare instances, If you still don’t like the designs, you can choose to cancel the contract. You will only pay for the work that was already done. After the invoice is cleared, we will release all the produced files for the project.
